COVID-19 | Coronavirus Postponement Policy

Our wold faced an unforeseen and most challenging pandemic in 2020. Weddings By Kurtis Cross hopes that each of you, your loved ones and your community, are well.  We know that health & safety is paramount.  Please continue to be safe, as we all face the challenges of a "new normal" during COVID-19.  With a local, community and global effort, we can get back to that normal.  With the 2021 emergence of "Delta" & "Omicron", we must, once again, adjust and adhere to varying guidelines.  We are not in the clear, but it is certain that we must be vigilant in our efforts to maintain safety and social responisibility.

The events business, is not immune to the challenges presented by social distancing, the limits on gatherings and the way life began changing in 2020.  At Weddings By Kurtis Cross we are your partners & support team in planning the most important day of your life.  Please know that we are available to assist with planning tips, ideas and to keep the conversation going.  While the majority of our couples postponed their dates to 2021 & beyond, we have successfully accommodated all couples.

We will continue to accommodate postponements as needed.  During this time, we have some extra time to plan your best day!  There will be no penalty for date changes and the timetable written into our Performance Contract for postponements has been amended.  Any postponed date will now have a total of two (2) years to reschedule.  While we cannot guarantee that your originally scheduled DJ will be available for your rescheduled date, we can guarantee a professionally trained & experienced DJ from our wedding team.  Further, you will not lose your deposit or balance payment, if you need to postpone your date.  If you choose to completely cancel your date, we are unable to offer a refund of your deposit payment.  Please understand that deposit payments guarantee our availability and cover the cost for time, hours and office/warehouse personnel who work in preparation of your wedding day.  As a business, the cost for our services includes more than the performance date.  We encourage all couples to postpone their dates, rather than cancel, as refunds are not offered.

We know it may be challenging to work with so many vendors who you’ve secured for your wedding date.  Please consider us, one of your vendor professionals who will be easy to work with.  Let’s open up the calendar and move dates.  Our team will be prepared to accommodate you as needed.  Please contact us, once your plans are known.  Our couples are planning locally and some are planning their U.S. weddings from international locations.  This is a work in progress.  The odds are very high that it won’t work perfectly, but we will do our best to make this easy for our couples.  We look forward to a successful 2022 & 2023 performance schedule

Please note the following...

•If you must postpone your date, we will accommodate your new date.  There will be no change in the cost of our services, provided the details (other than your date) remain the same.

•Specific DJ/Talent is subject to availability for all new, postponed & current bookings.  We apologize that we cannot guarantee specific DJ Talent due to the many changes in scheduling, currently occurring.

•Each couple & each wedding celebration is guaranteed to be staffed with a professional DJ from the Weddings By Kurtis Cross Team.

•As we continue to move dates for our couples, please know that we will make every effort to do so in such a way that minimizes the effect that such changes will undoubtedly have on our couples.

•Refunds are not offered for couples who choose to completely cancel their date.   We encourage each couple to postpone rather than cancel their date with us.  When booking, please consider this, as deposits cover the cost of preliminary work, exclusivity of the chosen date with one of our DJ entertainers, staff and arrangements made to accommodate each booking.  If you choose to cancel, no additional payment will be required.  We discourage couples from paying in full for their wedding date.
