Meet
Kurtis' award winning career began at the age of 13. With a $100 loan from his grandfather, his path was set. Purchasing his first gear from a local electronics shop, gigs included a church fashion show, school dances and literally every house on UMD's "Fraternity Row." From there, Kurtis
expanded his resume' to nightclubs... In Washington, DC, ("Tracks DC" was his weekly Friday residency) and in NYC, "Webster Hall" & "The Palladium." After those experiences, Miami nightclubs were next up with "The Clevelander", "The Fat Black Pussycat" & "Glam Slam" (Prince's Nightclub), being the backdrop. In 2003, after doing a few hundred weddings, Kurtis turned his attention exclusively to producing wedding celebrations. Now, as the area's most experienced wedding pro, DJ Kurtis Cross produces wedding celebrations across the country and is personally recommended at more than 50 event spaces in the U.S. His extraordinary showmanship, attention to detail and ability to connect with each couple & guest, make Kurtis an excellent choice for couples wanting nothing short of an amazing experience, from start to finish.
